The most important thing for students with learning differences to consider when they are making a decision about college is whether the school offers the appropriate accommodations for the student to be successful.
Trident Academy is recognized as a national leader in preparing students for college and helping them to select the best college for their learning style. Over the past five years, 98% of Trident Academy graduates have attended college.
Juniors and seniors at Trident Academy meet individually with the guidance counselor to assess their interests and learning styles. The guidance counselor then works with students to identify schools that offer the accommodations needed for their learning styles.
Representatives from nearly a dozen universities in the Southeast visit Trident Academy each year and give students the opportunity to meet with them privately and ask questions.
In 2011-12, Trident Academy hosted representatives from the following universities:

- North Greenville University
- Trident Technical College
