It was a packed gym for Trident Academy’s Homecoming celebration with the Middle School and Varsity basketball teams playing hard and the Homecoming court announced between games. Read about the homecoming court. Read more about Homecoming.

Peggy Price, Rhonda McKenna and Barbara Waterstradt attended the annual International Dyslexia Association conference in Baltimore. Aligning with the Common Core State Standards and teaching self advocacy were hot topics. They also returned with strategies to help parents at home.

Trident Academy’s Homecoming will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 29 between the Varsity and Middle School basketball games, around 6 p.m. The entire school is part of the tradition. Read more.

Senior Luke Jeresaty topped students from 18 other private schools to win the 2012 Math Meet. Jeresaty has placed fourth and sixth in previous Math Meets. Read more.

The Seahawks beat the Ridge Christian Palladins on Friday with a final score of 61-37. Due to injury and fouls, the Seahawks were down to four players in the last minutes of the game, but they were victorious! Check out the full schedule.

Ninth graders in Mrs. Silgals’ literature class aren’t going the traditional route in reading “The Killer Angels.” They are reading the book on Kindles and recreating each battle using a huge model. Read more.
