All 2013 Trident Academy graduates are pursing higher education. Eight students will graduate on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 9 a.m. (1455 Wakendaw Rd., Mt. Pleasant). Another three students will walk across the stage, but finish their coursework this summer – a full year early.
Graduate Ian Robert Hueston says, “Trident Academy has provided me, for the past six years, with a place in which I can grow and learn. Not just about academics, but about the world, while also giving me some of the best experiences and closest friend of my life.”
“Trident Academy has helped me in so many ways it’s hard to say in a couple of sentences,” says Austin Thompson, 2013 graduate. “To sum up everything Trident has done, it has given me the tools and techniques that I need to do basic everyday things and to further my education.”
The Class of 2013 includes:
Harry Blake Dennis (Coastal Carolina University)
Alexandra “Ally” Pamela Egan (Paul Mitchell The School Charleston)
Jordan Kenneth German (Trident Technical College)
Ian Robert Hueston (Brevard College, N.C.)
Luke Robert Jeresaty (College of Charleston)
Padgett Stukes Skardon (Converse College)
Curtis Austin Thompson (Mitchell College, Conn.)
Mattea Gabrielle Weinberg (Maine College of Arts)
Valedictorian Luke Robert Jeresaty says, “Trident has impacted my life because it has made it easier for me to learn and to fit in with my classmates. It has me enjoy going to school much more.”
“I have made lifelong friends!” says Mattea Weinberg.
Matthew Alexander “Alex” Blum, Jr., Lucas Alexander Bybee, and Cynthia Anne Hundley (Coastal Carolina University) will be celebrating their graduation this week, but will complete their coursework over the summer, one year early.
“This school really impacted my life because I probably would of dropped out and I would of never found basketball. This is where I met my best friend for life,” explains Alex Blum.
