The Trident Academy Parent Association (TAPA) has been a part of the school since it was founded in 1972. TAPA is essential to the operation and success of this school, dedicated to incredible students with learning differences.
At the end of each school year, a volunteer board is elected to run TAPA the following year. The board includes a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Other key positions are Auction Chair, Poinsettia and Wreath Chair, and Oyster Roast Chair. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month to which parents are always welcome. TAPA also coordinates many events throughout the year and is always looking for parent volunteers!
