Homecoming 2012

Trident Academy, a K5-12 school in Mt. Pleasant, held its 2012 Homecoming ceremony on Friday, January 13 in the gymnasium. In front of a standing-room only crowd, junior Ally Egan, daughter of Dr. Tom and Pam Egan of Mt. Pleasant, was crowned Trident Academy’s 2012 Homecoming Queen. She was crowned by 2011 Homecoming Queen Taylor Zerbst.

The Homecoming Court included: freshman Morgan AvRutick, daughter of David and Kay AvRutick of Charleston; sophomore Cynthia Hundley, daughter of Walter and Cindi Hundley of Charleston; sophomore Mattea Weinberg, daughter of Larry and Norma Weinberg of Cainhoy.

“The crowning of the Homecoming Queen is always a very special event and a high point of our basketball season,” says Lael Byrd, homecoming director. “The girls always look fantastic, the parents are proud as peacocks, and the school spirit explodes!”

The homecoming ceremony was held between the JV and Varsity basketball games against Lowcountry Preparatory School (Pawleys Island).
