Seahawk Basketball Kicks off Nov. 27

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Trident Academy! Family and friends will pack into the gymnasium each week to cheer on the Seahawk basketball teams. The season is underway with the first home game scheduled for November 27, 2012 at 5 p.m. against Cathedral Academy.

This year, two boys teams will participate in the SCISA Athletic League: Varsity (eighth through 12th grades) and the Middle School Team (fifth through seventh grades). The cheerleaders will be at all home games and that team is made up of Middle and Upper Schoolers.

Interested in coaching? Athletic Director Ezra Cowan is still looking for a Middle School coach. Find out more here.

The Seahawk Athletic Program is designed to teach students team spirit, cooperation and self-discipline while the students participate in a wholesome, healthy, and safe program. Lower School students may apply to be ball boys or ball girls during home basketball games. Fourth and fifth graders are able to participate in Wee Hawk Cheerleading. Middle and High school students have many opportunities to become involved. Below are the teams currently offered; however, others can easily be added based on interest.
