The art program at Trident Academy is founded upon the belief that creativity is vital to the balance, achievement, and growth of the whole child. With this in mind, art plays a significant role in the curriculum.
Providing the broadest creative experience possible, the facilities at Trident Academy are large, well-equipped and are available to all students. Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to take classes in drawing, painting, print-making, pottery, art history and to participate in many other creative activities.
The goal of the art program is not to measure a student’s performance, but to create an atmosphere and opportunity where students feel motivated to express their uniqueness and to exercise their creativity. Upper school students and middle school students have art as a scheduled class.
