Three Teachers Join Faculty in 2011

Liz Mullen will teach science and math to middle and high school students at Trident Academy, a K-12 school in Mt. Pleasant for students with learning differences. Mullen has a B.S. from North Carolina State University and has taught science and math at Ashley Hall School, James Island Charter High School, North Charleston High School, and Burke Middle High School.

Will Hegler will teach art for students in grades K-12 at Trident Academy, a K-12 school in Mt. Pleasant for students with learning differences. Hegler has a B.S. from Clemson University. Hegler is a successful artist and has won many awards in the art community including the Piccolo Spoleto Art Exhibit Mayor’s Choice Award – Best in Show 2009. He has also designed the poster for the Cooper River Bridge Run.

Peggy Price will teach Language Enrichment and Development (LEAD) classes at Trident Academy, a K-12 school in Mt. Pleasant for students with learning differences. Price has extensive Academy of Orton-Gillingham training by top experts in the field. She has taught at the Coralwood School (Georgia), was a Science Discovery Education trainer, an inclusion teacher with the United Way Early First Summer program and an Early Intervention Specialist at Georgia State University.
