Trident Academy values a diverse student body in terms of socio-economic, racial, ethnic, gender, and religious backgrounds. The decision to admit a student is based solely on the student’s learning profile and personal conduct. Similarly, Trident Academy’s Financial Aid program is based solely on the family’s demonstrated financial needs, including the family’s net income and assets, the number of dependents in the household, and the number of children attending tuition-based academic institutions. Allowances are made for certain taxes, medical costs, and unusual expenses.
If there are extenuating circumstances that you believe further impact your ability to pay the tuition due, you are encouraged to write a letter of explanation. The Financial Aid Committee maintains strict confidentiality of all financial information.

Families with more than one child in independent schools that are FACTS partners are only required to complete one application through FACTS Financial Aid Management. We recommend that you start the application process for tuition support as early as possible. Your 1040 and all schedules are required as part of the application process. If you have not yet completed your 1040, you should include your W-2s and/or 1099s with your submission. The Financial Aid Committee will meet by early February to consider the first round of applications submitted for re-enrolling students followed by those for new students. The Financial Aid Committee will meet again as needed during the spring and summer to consider additional applications.
Applying for financial aid is an annual process. Those who received grants in previous years are re-evaluated in relation to current circumstances before financial aid is awarded.
