Tutoring
At Trident Academy, our teachers are able to provide 1:1 tutoring for students from Trident Academy and other schools. This is typically done outside of the school day or during the summer months when school is not in session.
Two forms of tutoring are available: specialized Orton-Gillingham tutoring focused on reading and writing, and more general academic tutoring.
In both forms of tutoring, Trident Academy teachers trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach focus on the individual needs of the student. Tutors will design an evolving diagnostic and prescriptive program for each student. Adhering to the principles of the Orton-Gillingham approach, students are taught using a very structured, multi-sensory, and sequential approach.

Tutoring Availability Update (Spring 2026)
At this time, we do not have tutoring availability for the remainder of the current school year. Tutor openings may become available again during the summer months.
In the meantime, families seeking additional academic support are encouraged to explore our Summer Enrichment Program, which provides structured learning opportunities and continued skill development during the month of June.
