Circus Olympus

Cast members from the Circus Olympus play

In the spring of 2024, Trident's middle and high school students dazzled everyone with their spirited performance of Circus Olympus by Lindsay Price. This engaging play, woven into our recent history unit on ancient Greece, allowed students to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Greek mythology while having some laughs along the way. Over the span of just six weeks, with rehearsals limited to once a week and an intensive final week leading up to the performance, our students demonstrated remarkable resilience and creativity.

The preparation for Circus Olympus was an all-encompassing educational experience. Students not only memorized their lines but also delved into the practical skills of set design, prop creation, and costume assembly. This collaborative effort required teamwork and perseverance, and our students rose to the occasion magnificently. Their portrayal of ancient Greek myths, brought to life with humor and energy, captivated the audience and showcased their collective talent. The success of this performance is a testament to our students' hard work, determination, and the supportive environment fostered by our school, proving that with passion and effort, even the greatest challenges can be overcome.
