Student Life

Alongside of our Orton-Gillingham infused academic curriculum, Trident strives to provide our students with a well-rounded school experience. Our academic classes are supplemented by art, music, PE, library, and guidance classes, most of which meet weekly. Our high school students are able to take the elective classes that qualify them for a South Carolina high school diploma. 

We provide afterschool activities, which can vary from year to year, for all levels of our school. 

Students in grades 4 and up are able to participate in team sports such as archery, cross country, tennis, and volleyball. 

Our counselor is able to work with students one-on-one and in groups, and guidance classes are scheduled across all grades. Our counselor works with students and their families to prepare them for the transition to the next phase of their lives.
